Oh, my................

Sitting on the deck this morning, Jeannine spotted the momma deer with her two week old babes strolling though the tall grass.

One of the babes was too tired and too hot to walk any further, so she lay down for a nap.

We were surprised to see that Momma carried on walking, followed by the other babe.

I went down to take a look, just to check that all was well - and this is what I saw:

'Leave me be, please.......I'm just taking a nap....'

An hour or so later, she upped and left..........
