It's been almost a year since I last went to Ann Connor Dunning's class in South Middle School. Ann is one of the most accomplished middle school teachers I have ever seen.
South School responds to the educational and social needs if its students really well.
This past week, I made a surprise visit to Ann's 7th grade class and had some science fun with the kids, giving them the challenge to make a tower from two sheets of paper - then design and balance shapes on its top.
They did well.
