Building a paper tower/wall......and.....Rocket time...........at the Senior Centre

Today's Senior Scientists class challenge: 
BUILDING a TOWER and a WALL from single sheets of newspaper

 and tape..

Everyone did a great job, some individually, others working with a partner.

Then, ROCKET TIME!!

         

Had some sciency fun this morning with my Senior Scientists building and launching paper rockets - supported by a super cake snack made by FF................every rocket, powered by carbon dioxide (from half an effervescent denture cleaning tablet and water) escaping fast from a small plastic film container.....hit the ceiling!!

All the senior scientists made super rockets!!
